About Heaven Can Wait 5K
Heaven Can Wait 5k has reached an incredible milestone in serving our community for more than 25 years. Since 2000, this community celebration has been raising funds for Sara’s Project, a St. Charles Foundation initiative which provides education, early detection and support services to ease the challenges of breast cancer for people in Central and Eastern Oregon.
Over the years, this event has raised over $1.75M to provide love, support and compassion for breast cancer patients and their families. In 2025, we hope to raise an additional $25K in donations for patient support programs.
In addition to participating in Heaven Can Wait 5k, please consider creating your own fundraiser either as an individual or a team and draw on the power of your collective network of friends and families to help us reach our goal.
Registration Dates
Online registration details:
$54 (incl. $4 fee) November 1, 2024 - September 1, 2025
$59.30 (incl. $4.30 fee) September 2, 2025 - October 4, 2025
$64.60 (incl. $4.60 fee) online registration only October 5 until 11 a.m.
We will be using a fully electronic registration process this year. While day-of registration will be available, in-person registration at the event itself will not be offered.
