Kidneys for Taylyn

Join our 5k Walk/Run and 1/2 Mile Fun Run to benefit Taylyn Healey!

In 2022, Taylyn Healey (9) contracted Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP, also known as IgA vasculitis), a disease that causes the small blood vessels in their skin, joints, intestines and kidneys to become inflamed and bleed. Taylyn has had a serious case of the disease, along with other problems and has already had to have her kidneys removed from her body. Taylyn undergoes dialysis three times a week and will need a kidney transplant in the near future.

This charity event will give 100% of the proceeds to the Healey family to help with medical bills. She is such a bright spot in our community--a wonderful singer--and she deserves the very best care and help in combatting this disease.

The event will be held at Taylyn's school, Apple Valley Elementary, in Santaquin, UT. As always, Karlberg Racing tries our best to provide a FUN atmosphere and a great race! In order to give the Healeys the greatest amount of proceeds, we will not have chip timing or sweet swag unless donated by the community. To race it'll only be a $5 donation for the 5k or the fun run, but we encourage you to donate more if you are able.
