Seton Swimming Cystic Fibrosis Lap-a-thon

Sat December 31 - Tue January 31 Manassas, VA 20110 US

Events

Description

Join the Seton Swim Team the morning of Saturday, December 31, 2022, to swim 200 lengths of the pool for our annual lap-a-thon to support pediatric cystic fibrosis research at Johns Hopkins Children's Center. Seton Swimming has had several swimmers diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF) over the years, and the CF Lap-a-thon has become an annual tradition of team building and conditioning during the holidays, all while supporting our former, current, and future teammates with CF.

Even if you cannot make the actual event, please consider participating in our fundraising effort. Proceeds support CF research at Johns Hopkins Cystic Fibrosis Center—one of the best pediatric pulmonary programs in the entire country and a place where several of our swimmers have received care.

We are honored by the Seton Swim Team's continued commitment and support of this cause. Thank you for all you are helping us accomplish!

What is cystic fibrosis?

CF is a life-threatening disorder that causes long-lasting infections or damages to the lungs, digestive system, and other organs. There is currently no cure for CF. With our help, our partners at Johns Hopkins Children's Center are continually improving ways to understand and treat the disease, ultimately saving more lives.
