Join LNRC at 8:30 AM on Thanksgiving morning for a free community fun run in Little Neck! The Turkey Trot and Gobble Wobble are free, family-friendly events open to runners and walkers of all ages. There will be a 5k and 1 mile route that stays on the Little Neck Road path, but roads will not be closed.

This isn't a race - it's a chance to celebrate fitness, friendship, and gratitude before the big feast. We’ll start and finish at the Little Neck Swim and Racquet Club, following our usual run club-style format with plenty of good vibes and holiday cheer.

🚧 Safety Reminder

Please remember that roads will not be closed for this event. Both the 5K and 1-mile routes stay on the Little Neck Road path, but please be alert to traffic, especially when crossing streets. This is a fun run, not a race — all about fitness, friendship, and gratitude before the big feast!

🧥 Donation Update

This year, we’re collecting new or gently used sweatshirts and sweatpants for the Virginia Beach Housing Resource Center, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. Thank you for helping us spread warmth this holiday season!

Donations can be dropped off on Wednesday, November 26th from 3–5 PM at the Little Neck Swim and Racquet Club, or on race morning prior to 8:15 AM.

☕️ Post-Run Hangout

After the run, stick around for a post-run hangout at the Little Neck Swim and Racquet Club!

We’re excited to share that Dunkin’ Donuts will be providing coffee and donuts for participants to enjoy. Feel free to bring something to share tailgate-style — breakfast bites, fruit, or other treats are always a hit!

All participants will be entered into a raffle for a free entry to the Santa 5-Miler! Stick around after the run to see if you’re the lucky winner.

Limited-edition Turkey Trot shirts are available for purchase at the store — order by November 13th to guarantee your size!
