We strongly encourage you to take the Metro. There will be road closures that start before the race, and parking will be limited. The Courthouse Metro stop is right at the start/finish line.
Walkers are allowed so long as they can complete the course by 10:15 a.m.
We have a strict no-refund policy. We do allow you to transfer your entry to another individual. Transfers need to be completed by March 12.
We love pets, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed to run the race.
Yes. Four Courts will have a bag drop area. Bags must be picked up by 11:00 a.m.
Unfortunately, child strollers/joggers are not allowed. If you are an athlete who uses an adaptive devices such as a wheelchair to include a push-rim, hand-cycle, and adaptive pushed chair, we encourage you to contact the race directors, so they make the necessary arrangements.
Yes. You may pick up someone else's packet, but we ask that you make every effort to do so prior to race morning. To make check in easier, please have their confirmation email QR code.
The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, DC Road Runners encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the Four Courts Four Miler.
Live results will be linked on the main race page, with initial results posted within five minutes after the first finisher.
Yes, every runner must cross the finish line before 10:15 AM or exit the course.
No, race is SOLD-OUT. Please register early next year!
Runner safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority for our event. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.
