Join us on Historic Dumont Hill at Dugas Community Park at 8:30 AM on Saturday, May 31st for the inaugural Allen County Scottsville Veterans 5K – Run, Walk & Roll for Veteran Suicide Awareness.
This isn’t just a race—it’s a chance to honor the veterans in our lives and raise awareness for something that truly matters: their mental health. Whether you’re running, walking, rolling, or cheering from the sidelines, you’re part of something meaningful. We’ll have music, good vibes, and some tasty food trucks to enjoy after the race. So grab your friends, lace up, and let’s show up for our heroes—together.

What is VA S.A.V.E. Training?
VA S.A.V.E. Training is a free workshop that helps you recognize when a veteran may be in crisis. The acronym “S.A.V.E.” stands for the key steps in suicide prevention: Signs, Ask, Validate, Encourage & Expedite. This free, brief training empowers you with tools to intervene with care and compassion; This training could help you save a life.
🕑 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Pre-Race Registration Check-In
Beat the crowd and pick up your race bib, t-shirt, and information ahead of race day!
🍝 Beginning at 6:00 PM – Pasta Dinner
Suggested Donation: $5.00 – All proceeds support ongoing programming at Dugas Community Park.
Come carb-load for a cause with great food and even better company.
Together, we can run for awareness, walk in honor, roll for change—and rise for our veterans.
