Calling all turkeys: Get ready for the 23rd annual Sheppard Pratt Frederick Turkey Trot!
At Sheppard Pratt, we serve nearly 80,000 individuals in more than 160 programs in Maryland and through our partnerships with hospitals and health systems nationwide. We provide care and services from inpatient and outpatient treatment to rehabilitation services, housing, education, job training, and more.
Every step you take supports Sheppard Pratt’s mission to improve the quality of life of individuals and families by compassionately serving their mental health, addiction, special education, and community support needs. Join us!

Registration Fees
Your trot makes a difference! Race registration directly supports the care and services provided to those who turn to Sheppard Pratt for help.
Race shirts are included for all 5k and 1K participants.
5K Run/Walk:
- Now – July 31: $30 (EARLY BIRD)
- August 1 – October 31: $35
- November 1 – November 22: $40
- November 23 – November 26: $45 (Online registration closes November 25, 11:59 p.m. ET; November 26 on-site registration at packet pickup only)
1K Fun Run/Walk:
- Now – November 26: $25 (Online registration closes November 25, 11:59 p.m. ET; November 26 on-site registration at packet pickup only)

Dates:
- Monday, November 24: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, November 25: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 26: 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
When picking up packets for others, be sure to have the names they registered with and their registration confirmation handy. There will be no packet pickup or registration on race day.

Awards
Awards for the 5K will be given to the top overall male, female, and non-binary winner, as well as the top three male and female runners in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
Fundraising
Want to go the extra mile? Get even more involved leading up to race day by fundraising for Sheppard Pratt! Fundraising can happen at the team or individual level, and 100% of proceeds will support life-changing mental healthcare for the individuals and communities we serve.
