Event Description

We are excited to host our 5th Annual Miles for Mentorship event to support Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region’s mission to ignite the promise and power of youth! Miles for Mentorship is an outdoor, walk or run 5K. This year the event will be held at Hawk Island starting and ending at the Red Tail Shelter. Proceeds to this event help support the agency’s mission to create 1-to-1 mentoring relationships so that all youth achieve their full potential!

Back again! children 12 years of age and under are invited to participate in our Spooky Sprint Kids Run! Halloween costumes are encouraged, and each participant will receive a treat bag at the finish line. The Spooky Sprint is free of charge!

We are thrilled to announce that League of Enchantment Michigan will be joining us for the Kids Spooky Sprint!

The race will be professionally chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and online at the results tab, top of the page.

Costumes

Halloween costumes are encouraged for both the Miles for Mentorship 5k and the kids Spooky Sprint, but are not required!

We ask that you please keep costumes family friendly as there will be young race participants in attendance.

Pricing

Registration begins at $30. On September 1st, prices will increase to $35.

Family pricing: $5 discount per participant when registering 3 or more people at the same time. The discount is automatically applied during checkout when you select multi-person pricing.

Online registration will remain open until 10/11.

Race Shirts

Shirts are gauranteed with registrations thru 9/22.

Virtual participants may contact Kylie.Rhoades@bbbsmcr.org to schedule a time to pick up the shirt.
