Run/Walk Course Description
We are very excited to introduce Zion's new run/walk trail! The course route uses the entire perimeter of Zion's property. The start/finish linefor both the 1.5 mile walk and the 5K run/walk will be in the northwest corner of the church's parking lot. If you take a look at the arrows on the map above, you will see that the run/walk will go in a clockwise direction along the course. The majority of the race goes around the farm field. Don't worry, you won't be running in the field, there is a grass trail that you will run or walk around the perimeter of the field. Once you are out of the field, you will then run around the east side and south front of the church (NOT on the road) and then head back to the start/finish line on the church's paved drive.
Those doing the 1.5 mile walk will do one lap around the course, while the 5K runners and walkers will do two laps around the entire course.
