MTCX Super Prestige

The weekend series is called the MTCX Super Prestige, it a USA Cycling Series with 6 races. We are selling season's passes for the MTCX Super Prestige for $150. All categories battling for the overall in there field. 20. 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 (no dropped races

 

AGE CALCULATION for USA CYCLING RACING and MTCX SUPER PRESTIGE

A rider's racing age in cyclo-cross is his age on December 31st of the year that the cyclo-cross season ends.  In this case for Juniors and Masters racing it's your age on 12/31/2026. If you accidentally register for the wrong age category we will place you in the correct one.  Apologies in advance.

Missoula Wednesday Night Series

The Missoula Cyclocross Series is 8 weeks  It also has a corresponding youth program called "Rangers." SEASON SCHEDULE:
 

 

 

 

 

 

Points and Sanctioning

6 Mile Cross and the MTCX Super Prestige is a USA Cycling Event.  Points go to your call up at the National Championship.  UCI Pro Men and Women's C2 fields.

 

Podiums

Top three in each race category will be on podium. Podiums will be recognized immediately after each race.  Prizes and medals provided by Zillastate.

 

Call Ups

Register by Wed before Thunder to ensure you are considered for a callup. At least 8 in each category will get a call up for the front line. We may call past 8 if time allows from rider rankings/criteria below. Once we are done calling, then everyone else can line up first come, first serve.

Parking & Camping

Big Sky Brewery Bjorn is mostly grassy field parking and free dryland camping.

 

Team Tents

Team tents will be available, please reserve yours in the store here.

 

Course Pre-riding. 

While a race is occurring, please no pre-riding the course. There are  dedicated slots on the schedule for pre-riding. After each race, there should be 10 minutes where you can do some pre-riding.

Please also hit up Keyvin Pollington's City Center Motel Keyvin is a strong supporter of Missoula Cycling.  City Center Motel is located downtown Missoula. OR Free Dryland Camping at the venue.

FAQ

Q: I'm not a USA Cycling Member. Can I race and what category?

  • Yes, you will race on a one day license.  Consider the morning age group races first.

Q: Can I race more than one race in the day? 

  • Yes! Race as many times as you want Saturday and Sunday.

Q: Do I need a CX bike?

  • No. Gravel bikes and mountain bikes work great! Just make sure if you have a MTB you take off any bar end extenders.
