Race Day Information-Parking,Arrival Time & More
Where to park:
- The cheapest place to park is Lee County's Lynn Hall Park ($2.00 per hour).
- Town spots on Old San Carlos and under the bridge ($3.00 per hour).
- There are also many private lots that charge $10 or $15 for the day if you plan to hang out on the beach
All parking near the bridge is within walking distance of Margaritaville Resort.
RACE DETAILS:
- Registration is on the terrace at Margaritaville. Access the terrace through the lobby or the stairs on Estero Boulevard. Registration opens at 6AM and takes less than 2 minutes.
- The race begins at 8AM on the beach near Lah De Dah (Margaritaville) and where the Salty Crab used to be. All runners and walkers will leave at the same time.
- The course: Once you start the race you are going to run straight toward the water to the hard sand and turn left and head south. You will run about 1/2 mile to the turnaround. There will be one water station on the course behind Lah De Dah at the 1 mile mark. You will then run north toward Bowditch to the final turnaround cones and head back to the start/finish line.
- The medal ceremony will be back on the terrace immediately after the race at about 9:15.
- The Megan Rose band will perform from 9:45 to 11 and from 12 to 1 so please stick around and have some lunch or a drink. We are also doing our show at 11AM.
If you have any questions all of our race volunteers will have pink race shirts on.
Also, if we run out of your shirt size, we will take your name at registration and ship you your shirt next week
