Labor Day Mile

Join us this Labor Day Weekend for a fun and fast Mile Race designed especially for runners of all paces and backgrounds! Whether you're chasing a personal best or just out to enjoy a festive run this is the perfect way to enjoy your holiday weekend. After you cross the finish line, grab some refreshments and stick around to watch the excitement build as top local elite runners take the course in the final wave. It’s a rare chance to witness homegrown talent up close, cheer them on, and feel the energy of competitive racing at its finest—all in one unforgettable day.

Bring the heat, bring your spikes, and let's see who can own the mile.

First up—we’ve got the Open Wave—ideal for the everyday runner who wants to challenge themselves, hit a new PR, or just experience the thrill of the track.

Second will be the Elite Wave—built for sub-5:00 guys, sub-6:00 women. Expect fast heats, a dialed-in atmosphere, and the perfect opportunity to test your fitness against legit competition.  Must submit a comparable race entry to be considered.

Are you eligible for a FREE entry? We are offering a comp (free) entry to Men that will run a Sub-4:30 and Women that will run a Sub- 5:15.  To receive a coupon code for the free entry, please email keith@fleetfeetws.com.  Must submit a comparable race entry to be considered.

High school coaches - please invite your athletes to participate!  

If you do not have a 1 mile race result to submit, please submit a recent race result on a certified course.  Your comparable race result will be entered into a race prediction calculator to estimate your 1 mile pace.  

For runners that pay to run the Elite Wave, we will REFUND your race fee if you run under the comp entry times on race day.  

ELITE WAVE CASH PRIZE PURSE:  $1500

• 1st Place Male/Female:  $400 each
• 2nd Place Male/Female:  $200 each
• 3rd Place Male/Female: $100 each
• Masters 1st Place Male/Female:  $50 each (40+ athlete)
• We are also crowd sourcing from other registrants and the proceeds will be distributed from 1st through 5th place.
