Description
What: Fleet Feet Columbus is partnering with ASICS to put on a Trot-a-Thon! This Trot-A-Thon will be benefiting the 18 Special Olympics Chapters of Central Ohio.
When: November 25th starting at 9am! Spend Black Friday moving and grooving for a cause!
Where: Wexner Park Located at 7600 Swickard Woods Blvd, New Albany, OH 43054
Who: All are welcome!
- Event is geared to Elementary students.
- Special Olympic Teams and traditional students welcomed!
- Kids and adults of all ages are encouraged to join!
What is a Trot-a-Thon? Run, walk, skip, or hop laps, with each lap earning donations for Special Olympics of Ohio.
- For every lap run, you will receive a turkey charm.
- You get a sweet, or should we say savory, race bib to keep track of your laps!
- The top 3 turkey charm collectors will receive a grand prize!
50/50 Raffle: ASICS + Fleet Feet is hosting an on-site cash 50/50 cash raffle
Donations: While the event is free, participants are encouraged to meet a fundraising minimum of $25 which earns one turkey charm. Donations will be matched up to $1,500.
Why? 100% of the proceeds will be donated across the chapters of Special Olympics.The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Sign up with a minimum fundraising amount of $25! Fundraising can be done as a flat donation or per-lap donations. All donations are collected through registration! During registration you will choose which central Ohio Special Olympics program will receive your donation!
