Event Description
Join the WOLF PACK for a trail 1/2 Marathon, 6 Hours of Power, 10K, 5K & 20K Relay in John Bryan State Park! John Bryan State Park is distinguished by its remarkable limestone gorge, which the Little Miami State and National Scenic River cut many years ago. The gorge, a National Natural Landmark, offers hikers splendid views from the trail.
RACE PERMITTED UNDER SPECIAL USE AUTHORIZATION FROM JOHN BRYAN STATE PARK
The John Bryan campground is nice but sells out fast. Another fantastic option is to stay at the Rustic Retreat in Xenia (a short drive away). The owners of the Rustic Retreat, which includes vintage Airstream campers and cozy guest rooms, are PACK PASS members and sponsors of the Wolf Pack running series. FAQs
This event takes place on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11. The events start at the Lower Shelter House in John Bryan State Park at 10 am.
Packet pickup is at the Lower Shelter House in John Bryan State Park at 9:15 am. You do not need to arrive earlier than 9:15 am.
All registrants receive a souvenir medal with a lanyard, a custom race bib, a custom race sticker, a discounted race shirt, aid station support, a marked course, a timed event, and snacks/refreshments at the finish line.
Race shirts are sold separately.
Yes.
The 1/2 Marathon finish line closes at 4 pm on Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday.
The 10K finish line closes at 1 pm.
The 5K finish line closes at 12 pm.
The 6 Hours of Power finish line closes at 4 pm. The 6 Hours of Power is a Saturday only event.

You can register via RunSignup or at the event. Please bring exact cash.
Yes.
Parking is free and plentiful at the start/finish area. The start/finish area is at the Lower Shelter House in John Bryan State Park.
Yes.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome at all Wolf Pack events. If your dog gets excited and likes to bark we ask you stay away from the starting area until after the event begins.

There are vault-style toilets at the start/finish area. There are flush toilets and showers in the nearby campground.
There is plenty of parking at the start/finish near the Lower Stone Shelter in John Bryan State Park.
Yes.
We use humans to give verbal directions, so please silence/remove headphones to receive proper instructions.
Yes.
We use flagging, arrows, cones, and signs to mark the course. We will cover the course markings at the pre-race meeting at 9:45 am, the morning of the race.

There will be water/aid approximately halfway through each course.

You can leave your personal items at the start/finish area or in your parked vehicle.
The races start at the Lower Shelter at John Bryan State Park. The Lower Shelter is down the steep hill from the campground. The races do not start at the Mountain Bike Trailhead.

However, the packet pickup/check-in is on the morning of the event.
You can purchase a race shirt in the race store. Shirts are not included with registration.
Shirts are shipped via Amazon Prime. Shirts are not available for pickup at the event. Shirts take 5-7 business days to arrive.
Refund Policy
Basically, we do not issue refunds, but please read the fine print...
Wolf Pack Adventures will issue refunds within two weeks of the original date of a canceled event. No refunds will be issued if cancellation is due to acts of nature, such as forest fires, pandemics, inclement weather, flooding, or wildlife concerns. Deferrals will be issued for events canceled due to natural disasters. No refunds will be issued to participants who withdraw or do not attend an event. No race "swag" will be mailed or held for participants who do not attend an event. Participants may transfer to another event. No refunds will be issued to participants who transfer to other events. We understand that everyone has personal circumstances, and we value our community. Therefore, we will allow injured runners to defer their registration to a different race or event, to the following year, or to another runner. For planning purposes, we cannot offer refunds to injured runners.
No refunds will be issued for poor trail conditions.
Please do not ask for a refund unless we cancel and do not reschedule the event.
