Black Men's Wellness Day 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Come out to Legacy Park in Norman on September 13th for Norman's first annual Black Men's Wellness Day 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk as Oklahoma Race Company has proudly partnered with the Black Men's Wellness Day team to bring you this amazing event! 

This isn’t just an event – it's a movement. It's about understanding the health disparities that exist, taking actionable steps towards better health, and celebrating the strength and resilience of our community. Whether you've been a part of our journey from the start or are just getting to know us, this day is for you.

This event is a celebration for everyone! While it proudly honors Black men, we warmly invite the ENTIRE community to join in, connect, and share in this first ever experience in Oklahoma that has been taking place across the United States since 2004. 

Race Participants receive:
✔️Custom Race Bib
✔️Cool Finisher Medal
✔️Run for a GOOD CAUSE.  A portion of the proceeds from this race will go to the Norman chapter of the African American Male Wellness Agency (AAMWA)! The more racers that sign up, there more there is give back. 
✔️Access to the wellness day clinic & ALL THE FUN!

✔️The Wellness Day event will have t-shirts and other swag to offer!

⭐Free Health Screenings: Prioritize your health. From blood pressure checks to more comprehensive screenings, our team of healthcare professionals are here to make sure that this is the most fun that you will ever have at a doctor's appointment.

⭐Kids Zone: A day for the entire family! There's something for everyone! Let your little ones engage in fun, interactive, and educational activities centered around health and wellness.

⭐Senior Pavilion: It's critical to the mission of Black Men's Wellness Day to promote wellness for the entire community. That's why we have a special pavilion with activities just for our Golden citizens.

⭐Entertainment: Celebrate with us! From live music to performances, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
