Participant Event Day Details

We can't wait to see you at The Grove at The Park, Berkeley Heights! 
  • Our event site is located at The Grove and parking is located at 200 Connell Drive, Berkeley Heights. While entering The Park (formerly Connell Corporate Park), follow signs for 200 Connell Drive and look for Parking Signs. See Parking & Directions page for more information. Please help us be respectful to tenants of The Park and avoid reserved spots with a company name.
    • Most entrances to the venue will close at 9:45am, access will then be limited to Plainfield Avenue, and you may experience delays...arrive early! 
  • Check-In and Event Day Sign-Up are your first stop, starting at 8:15am at the red-capped tents. Early registrants (through Thursday 5/8) can pick-up your Bib # and long-sleeve souvenir shirt here.
    • We will be accepting new registrations by cash or check with paper form ($40) or through our website with credit card processing fee – shirts are limited and while supplies last for those signing up on 5/9 or 5/10.
    • All registered and checked-in runners and walkers will be eligible to win one of our amazing prizes. Winning bib numbers/names will be posted at the Swag Tent. Our lucky winners can pick-up their prizes starting at 10:30am. Winners of any unclaimed prizes will be contacted after the event to arrange pick-up.
    • New this Year: Visit our Swag Tent to purchase a 40oz Quencher Bottle for $45 and you could win one of three bonus prizes in celebration of our 45th Anniversary! Purchase early as only 45 bottles are available. Drawing will be held before the Awards Ceremony!
  • 4 Miler: Please see full info further down. 
  • 1 Mile Walk: We recommend bringing water with you for your walk.
  • Virtual Participants: Your souvenir shirts will be available for pick-up the week of 5/12 at the Our House offices - 76 Floral Avenue, New Providence.
  • Rain or Shine!
  • Environmental Notes:
    • While plenty of water will be available to you on-site, we encourage you to BYOW (bring your own water in your own reusable bottle) and help reduce our single-use plastic waste. A refill station will be available. 
    • We are now accepting your Tyvek bib numbers for recycling! If you don't want to keep your bib, drop it off at the BestLife.Events tent. We'll also take any old bibs you may want to recycle from other events. Please make sure you have removed safety pins and timing chips!
    • Orange bins are for trash going to the landfill. White bins are for Plastic Bottle Recycling Only. If you have additional recycling, please deposit it at the BestLife.Events tent and we'll take care of it for you! 
  • HYDRATE! Whether you BYOW or visit our water tables at the refreshments tents or the Finish Line, please make sure you are well hydrated for your run or walk. 
  • ADA ramp access on and off of The Grove is available at the upper and lower corners of the west side which is closest to our parking. There is another ADA ramp located near the 4M finish line and refreshment tents. See site map.

Schedule
  • 8:15am - Check-In & Registration Opens
  • 9:00am - Welcome & 1 Mile Walk Begins
  • 9:30am - Everyone's A Winner Race for the Our House Residents (please cheer them on!)
  • 10:00am - 4 Mile Run Begins
  • 10:30am – Prize Winners will be posted at the Swag Tent – All registered and checked-in runners and walkers are eligible to win. Check to see if you won before you head home.
  • 11:00am - Anniversary Drawing & Awards Ceremonies
    • In celebration of our 45th Anniversary, we are selling 45 40oz Quencher Bottles for $45 at the Swag Tent leading up to the drawing where three lucky people will win surprise gift cards!
    • Please cheer on the Our House residents as they receive their medals.
    • 4 Miler Awards will be announced immediately after the Everyone's A Winner Awards Presentation (approximately 11:15am).
4 Miler Info
  • Please wear your bib # on the FRONT of your shirt and do not bend or alter your 4M timing chip located on the back of the bib. Do not trade or swap your number with anyone. If needed, you can ask for help at registration.
  • Clocks at each mile & the finish; water will be available 4 times along the course and at the finish line.
  • Only runners pacing under 6:30 minutes per mile should "toe" the start line for safety.
  • No pets, skates, bikes for safety reasons; baby joggers are allowed but must start in back of pack and stay to one side when on narrower portions of the course.
  • Instant results will be at BestRace.com/Mobile and full results will be available on both this website and BestRace.com. Look for QR codes around the event site. 
  • Your course is through the beautiful campus of The Park. You will see other runners throughout the race, so please be mindful of course signs and volunteer instructions. Maps can be found on our website.
