In consideration of my participation, I, the undersigned participant (or parent/guardian for participants under 18), intending to be legally bound, hereby waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages or injuries that I or my family members may have against the Autism Society of Texas, the Event Director, event volunteers, sponsors, venue hosts, and their representatives and employees for any and all injuries to myself, my dependents, or my personal property. This release applies to any injuries and/or damages sustained before, during, or after the event. I understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

I acknowledge and assume all risks associated with participation in this event, including but not limited to: slips, falls, food sensitivities, contact with other participants, and the effects of weather or facility conditions. I certify that all individuals I register are able to safely participate in the activities they choose to engage in.

In the event of illness, injury, or medical emergency arising during the event, I authorize the Event Director or their designee to secure any medical treatment deemed necessary for immediate care. I understand that I am fully responsible for any and all medical services and treatment provided, including but not limited to transportation, medications, treatment, and hospitalization.

I agree to follow all health and safety guidelines in place at the time of the event, including those related to communicable diseases such as COVID-19, and understand that such guidelines may be updated in accordance with public health recommendations.

Further, I grant permission to the Autism Society of Texas and its partners to use my name, voice, and/or images of myself or my dependents in any photographs, videos, or publications for promotional, educational, or reporting purposes related to this event.

I understand that all event registrations and any associated fees or donations are non-refundable. The Autism Society of Texas reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond its control (such as severe weather, natural disaster, or public health emergency) and no refunds will be issued under such circumstances.

By submitting this registration, I acknowledge that I have read and agreed to the above release and waiver. For participants under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign on their behalf.
