5 K Details
The 5K will start at 9AM on Saturday in front of the Von Braun Center. It will take participants through Downtown Huntsville before finishing at the same indoor finish line as Sunday’s marathon.

Registered participants will receive a long sleeve race t-shirt.
Finishers also will receive a 5K medal.
If you sign up and complete THREE events, known as the "Hat Trick” (10K, 5K and either the half or full marathon), you will receive a custom Rocket City hat, a medal for each race and a long sleeve t shirt for each race.
Due to liability insurance requirements, and for the safety of all runners, the following are not allowed during the race:

Aid Stations
There will be a water station along the race course at approximately mile 1.75.
Awards
The Top 3 Male and Female finishers in the following age groups will receive Rocket City 5K awards:
0 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70 – 74, 75 & up
Awards may be collected at the awards table in the South Hall once all age group winners have been identified. Awards will not be mailed.
