👕 WHY YELLOW?
This year’s shirt is yellow — not just for visibility on race day, but because yellow (or gold) is the official color of the childhood cancer awareness ribbon. It represents hope, courage, resilience, and light. By wearing this shirt, you’re standing in solidarity with kids fighting some of life’s hardest battles. It’s a visible reminder that they are not alone.
📍 THE DESIGN ELEMENTS
• The shirt features a clean, badge-style graphic inspired by vintage park signs, nodding to the historic beauty of Falls Park in Pendleton, IN, where we gather each year.
• The bold “INCOURAGE” lettering reminds us to encourage others and also to have courage within — something every child and family affected by cancer must find daily.
• A small Indiana state icon with a heart in the center sits at the top — a quiet but powerful symbol of our mission’s roots. It’s a reminder that this movement is deeply personal, born in Indiana, and driven by the love of a close-knit community rallying for the kids.
• The line “FOR THE KIDS” says it all — this event, this shirt, this mission — it’s all for them.
