Race day bike rentals will be available for pick-up starting at 7am at either the race venue in West Beach or the Bike Pavilion at the Sanctuary Hotel in East Beach.

All bikes will need to be returned to either the race venue or the Bike Pavilion at the Sanctuary Hotel once the event is over.

After that, bikes can be reserved at the info desk inside the race venue (West Beach Conference Center) or at the Sanctuary Bike Pavilion for $40 each.

Online bike reservations are available for 26" adult bikes only.

If you need longer durations or other sizes, please call Kiawah Recreation, 843.768.6001, open daily. All purchases are final.
When biking, it is the cyclist’s responsibility to follow all spectator rules and regulations. Safety is our top priority on race day, and following these rules will keep both you and our runners safe.
Rules and Regulations:
• No pacing runners
• Spectators, cyclists and strollers must not impede any registered participant or the flow of road traffic
• All cyclists must follow the directions of the course monitors, volunteers, Kiawah Island Security and law enforcement
• Helmets are suggested and complimentary with all resort bike rentals
• Ride on the right side of the road, with the flow of traffic
• Ride single file, no biking side-by-side
• No circling runners
• Keep with the flow of bike traffic
• Give the right of way to all runners and pedestrians
• Be alert when crossing driveways, sidewalks, bike paths, and parking lots
• Obey all stop signs
• Yield to traffic coming from behind when turning left at intersections
• Use proper hand signals to indicate turns.
• Cyclists on the course may only have intermittent contact with runners
