Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and Catholic Health are hosting the 7th Annual Catholic Health Suffolk County Marathon to Support Our Veterans this October 23rd, 2022.

With 1.5 million people, including 90,000 veterans residing in Suffolk County, we are proud to host this event and hope you can join us in honoring our local heroes. In previous years, this event has drawn approximately 4,000 attendees, and 2019’s race included over 2,300 runners from 21 states and eight countries. This year’s event debuts a new course, starting in the Village of Babylon and ending in Gardiner County Park, Bay Shore, immediately followed by the Freedom Fest. To learn more please visit:

Freedom Fest is an outdoor festival featuring live music and entertainment, arts and crafts, local artisans and businesses, children’s activities, local food, and craft beer.  The Festival is an exciting opportunity for your business to reach new customers, build overall brand awareness, and drive repeat visitations to Suffolk County.

Vendors will be highlighted in our promotional materials leading up to Freedom Fest on social media and in local downtowns! Don’t miss this great opportunity!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Once the application is submitted and approved, Race Awesome will reach out for payment
Vendor space size is 10 x 10 feet. All tents must conform to space size. Vendors requiring additional space must purchase 2 spaces
Vendors are to supply all tents, tables, chairs, and protection from the weather
There is no electric hook-up available. Please bring your own generators if needed and note on the application
Specific vendor spaces cannot be reserved
Details on space assignment, vendor unloading, and parking will be provided one to two weeks prior to the Festival
The event will take place rain or shine. There will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Vendors are responsible for keeping their leased areas clean
All food and beverage vendors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permits through the Suffolk County

Tentative Vendor Hours of operation:
Saturday, October 23 Freedom Fest Day 1 10:00 am - 5:00 pm 1k Kids Run, Race Bib Packet Pickup, and EXPO
Sunday, October 24 Freedom Fest Day 2 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Awards, and All Races

Vendors are required to unload and move vehicles from the Festival area (times listed below are tentative). We
know this may be inconvenient, but a large turnout is expected. A limited number of spaces are available for
parking near the festival area so check-in early. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. For planning
purposes, vendor displays can be set up on (overnight security provided)
o Friday 10/21 4 pm - 6 pm
o Saturday 10/22 7 am - 8 am
o Sunday 10/23 5 am - 6:30 am
