Details

Arrive and check in at volunteer tent by 4pm. You'll be directed to your station, given a volunteer shirt, and paired with another volunteer. Your job will be to man the water stop and pass out water to participants. After the last participant passes around 6pm, we ask that you tear down the water stop set ups, pack it all up, pick up any water bottles/trash in the area, and bring it all back to the volunteer tent. Once you're all done, please feel free to remain on site and enjoy the event!

Course Monitor High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Arrive and check in at the volunteer tent by 4pm. You'll be given directions, a volunteer shirt, and course monitor vest. Once all the course monitors check in, you'll be asked to help to set up the race course and make sure there aren't any pine cones or debris in the path of the runners. You'll be responsible for monitoring cross walks and vehicle access points along the course for the safety of race participants. Course monitors need to be 18 or older to participate. Once the last participant passes you (usually about 6:15pm), you can start cleaning up the course area you're in by picking up any water bottles/trash and returning any signage and your vest to the volunteer tent as you leave!

Race Set Up Medium Priority

Details

Arrive and check in by 2pm at the volunteer tent to help with overall set up. You'll be given instructions and a volunteer t-shirt. Tasks include hanging banners, setting up tents and tables, and assisting race event team with whatever is needed to be ready for participants to arrive by 4pm. Once you finish you can remain and enjoy the race!

Race Check In Medium Priority

Details

Help with checking in race participants and handing out swag bags at race check in area. Requires you arrive at 3pm. Race check in begins at 4pm, and ends at 5pm. You are welcome to remain after that and help in other areas or enjoy the race!

Finish Line Cheer Support Medium Priority

Details

Arrive and check in by 4pm at the volunteer tent. You'll be given instructions and a volunteer t-shirt. Your job will be to stand along the start/finish line to cheer on participants as they start and finish the race! We ask that you please remain until the last person crosses then finish line (about 6:15) and help with any course clean up in your area.

Finisher's Water & Snack Stop High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Arrive and check in by 4pm at the volunteer tent. You will be paired with another volunteer, given instructions, and a volunteer t-shirt. Your job is to man the "Finisher's Tent" and help to pass out water bottles and snacks for race finishers to enjoy. We need your help to make sure water and snacks are being given to finishers (bibbed participants) soon after they cross the finish line. We ask that you please remain on site through end of event to help tear down and pack up the Finisher's Tent and table, any remaining water and snacks, and clean up any trash in your area. Return all items to Shelter 6 area for loading. Tear down begins around 6:30, or when award's ceremony starts, and we're usually all packed up by 7pm.

This job will help with volunteer check in process, answer any related questions. You'll be provided a t-shirt and volunteer check in sheet. This task involves remaining on site until tear down (around 6:30) to help with taking down tent and table and returning to Shelter 6 for loading.

Details

This role is for a medical professional only (licensed nurse, doctor, EMT, etc.) Arrive and check in by 4pm at the volunteer tent. You will be paired with another volunteer, given instructions, and a volunteer t-shirt. You will be provided with a walkie talkie and communicate directly with the race team coordinator and Go Time. Your job is to be on call during the race event for any medical emergancies.

Tear Down Event Medium Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Arrive and check in at the volunteer tent by 6pm. You'll be given a volunteer t-shirt and some instructions for tear down. Tear down will begin as award's ceremony starts (usually by 6:30) and we'll be all packed up by 7pm.
