Road Guard / Cheer Squad High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Will need to check in at Vista Park volunteer sign in by 7:45 and be to post by 7:45 if on 1 mile course and or 8:15 if on 5k course. Wear high visiblity vest. Make sure cars do not go through while runners are on the course. Direct them to cross street where they can be directed out of town by Police. Stay until ALL Racers are past. Leave vest at stop or bring back to field. Must have phone on you for any emergencies.

Post-Race

Road Master High Priority

You must be 20-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Minimum met, 3 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Oversees and communicates with Race Director, Police, all volunteers at road intersections as well as water stops and mile stops. Must work with race director at least 4 weeks before race and day of starting at 6am and going till all is cleaned up.

Greeter - Director Low Priority

Details

You must be familiar with layout of field where people need to go, where bathrooms are, what the course is, etc. People can come to you when they have questions. If you want to make up a hat or sign that says, Need Help? Ask Me!

Show Sponsors where to set up Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

There will be businesses needing help bringing their supplies to field and knowing where to go. You will direct and help them.

Post Race Snacks Low Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Set up table if not already and organize fruit, snacks, drinks etc for post race.
