Details

Check in and register runners. Pls check off their names. Accept registration and money for anybody registering at the event. Give them their race bibs, 4 safety pins, 3 raffle tickets, and shirt, if they got one.
Point them toward the food tents and the starting line for race.

Parking Volunteer

Walk Course Volunteer

You will be posted along the walk route to encourage walkers and to call for assistance if necessary. You may be asked to stamp walkers' cards as they finish laps. Involves sitting or standing for about one hour.

Run Course Volunteer

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

You will be posted along the race courses in case of issues. Notify staff if needed. Encourage, applaud, and/or cheer for all runners. Involves walking and standing.

Race Finish LIne

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

You will stand behind the finish line to help the timing company staff as needed.

Clap for all runners as they finish. Offer them a water bottle and point them towards food.

Aid and Water station for 5K

You will be filling water cups and distributing to runners. You will also call for help if runner needs assistance.

Set Up/Take Down

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Help unload cars and set up signs, tables, shirts, registration areas, etc.

Bag Check & Security

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

People will write their names or bib numbers on a tag, and you attach it to their bag. They need to tell you their names or bib numbers to claim after the event. Please remain at post until all bags are claimed.

Raffle Volunteer

Sell raffle tickets. Monitor the gift cards/baskets. Assist with giving the prizes to the winners.
