Catholic School Village Traffic Control & Load In

Volunteers will unload cars, deliver items to the Catholic School Village, help direct traffic to the loading zone, and assist in other areas as needed. Volunteers should be able to lift up to 10 lbs., be able to work as a team, stand for long periods, and walk for short distances.

In this position, volunteers will help keep the Finish Line clear of congestion as people leave the Finish Line area. They will direct finishers to the water station and back towards the Catholic School Village, where the post-race party will take place. Volunteers will need to be comfortable standing the entire shift and be comfortable telling people to keep moving. A perfect position for someone who wishes to interact with the crowd!

As a Volunteer in the Volunteer Booth, you will assist the Volunteer Coordinator by helping check people in, helping sign up volunteers, passing out t-shirts to volunteers, assisting volunteers get to their assignments, help confirm that volunteers understand their assignments, and helping the VC with special assignments that may arise. This position requires strong people skills, some standing, some lifting, some sitting, some walking, and the ability to be flexible.
