Details

"Under The Trees" Aid Station Volunteers will be our main cheering section and will hand out water and Gatorade to runners. You will see 5k runners twice, at roughly mile 0.75 and mile 2.25, and 10k runners four times, at roughly miles 0.75, 2.25, 3.75, and 5.50. "Under The Trees" Aid Station Captain will lead the only Real Life Center aid station, and will coordinate with Race Director, Volunteer Coordinator, and Medical/Safety Coordinator. You will see 5k runners twice, at roughly mile 0.75 and mile 2.25, and 10k runners four times as they complete 2 loops of the course. Questions, please contact the Race Director at RD@reallife.org.

"Off To The Races" Aid Station Volunteer Medium Priority

Details

"Off To The Races" Aid Station Volunteers will be our main cheering section on the Retama property and will hand out water and ICE to runners. You will see 5k runners twice, at roughly mile 1.15 and mile 1.95, and 10k runners four times, at roughly miles 1.15, 1.95, 4.25, and 5.05. You will be stationed on the Retama property, guiding participants to make a left turn leaving Lookout Road and entering the Retama property (making a right-turn on the return). You will have two-way runner traffic passing around you. Questions, please contact the Race Director at RD@reallife.org.

Course Marshall A - Dirt Turn

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

You will be stationed on the Retama property, guiding participants to make a RIGHT turn leaving the racetrack and entering the asphalt. Questions, please contact the Race Director at RD@reallife.org.

The Awards Assistant Volunteers will be located at the finish line party area near the pavilion, and will assist in handing out the AG Awards for Competitive 5k and 10k Runners post-race. Questions, please contact the Race Director at RD@reallife.org.

Medical volunteers must hold current CPR/First Aid/AED certifications; RRCA certified Coaches welcome, EMT certification also welcome. Medical volunteers will provide oversight and render aid for their assigned area of the course, and will coordinate with the Medical Supervisor and/or Law Enforcement as needed. A cooling station will be available at the finish area for heat injuries. *This position will be stationed at the start/finish area.* Questions, please contact the Race Director at RD@reallife.org.
