Day 1 - Ramp Van Drivers

Details

Drive ramp vans for participants throughout the day. You may be in a participants van or a borrowed van. You will be busy all day moving folks in wheelchairs from one spot to another. You need to be able to physically tie down a wheelchair in the ramp van. Your start location will be assigned prior to shift.

Day 1 - Lunch helper (pick up, deliver and help serve)

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Pickup up the lunch from our supplier and deliver it to Aid Station 2 near Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd. Stay with our lunch team to help serve lunch and to clean up as needed.

We will be having a barbecue at Carrie Blake Park. Arrive before the crowd to help setup. Then help serve once everyone has arrived, and help cleanup once it's done.

Staff the aid station for about three hours. This job involves waiting for the folks to arrive, and then offering them snacks, beverage and fun. All the supplies will be at the aid station. You can use chalk to write messages on the trail, you can blow bubbles, and sometimes we will have giveaways from sponsors that you can hand out. Once everyone leave, help pack up the aid station and supplies for pickup.

Help out at merch table selling our merch. This involves some lifting and moving of boxes and display a couple times..
