Every supporter you bring to register gets to direct 100% of their race registration fee to your organization. The more people you rally, the more you raise, while connecting with donors, volunteers, board members, and new supporters along the way.

How The Give Miami 5K Works
- 100% of proceeds from every runner’s race registration fee goes towards Miami’s nonprofits. Runners can direct their fee towards the issue area they care about most or to a particular nonprofit.

Anyone can join The Give Miami 5K. However, only nonprofits that are approved participants of Give Miami Day 2026 can receive registration proceeds through the race. If your nonprofit would like to be eligible, you must register to participate in Give Miami Day. Nonprofits can register here until October 16.
- Once a nonprofit has completed their Give Miami Day registration, it will take approximately 24 – 48 hours to set up a running team on the Give Miami Day 5K race registration page.
- Nonprofits will receive the donations raised from The Give Miami 5K as part of their Give Miami Day payout. The amount raised will be reflected on their Give Miami Day profile on Give Miami Day (November 19, 2026).
- Visit www.givemiamiday.org to register your nonprofit for Give Miami Day.
Nonprofits that are not registered through Give Miami Day are ineligible to participate or receive donations from The Give Miami 5K.
