Yes! More miles or fewer...you can switch your distance through your RunSignUp account.
Here’s how:
-
Log in using the same email address you used to register. Forgot your password? Request a password reset.
-
Scroll down to “Upcoming Races” and select “Manage Registration” next to the Salt Lake City Marathon.

You can change distances leading up to race day, as long as space is available in your preferred event. Events often sell out, so make the switch as soon as you know which distance is right for you!
Moving to a longer distance requires an additional payment. Switching to a shorter distance is free.
Plans change...and we’d love to see you at a future Start Line! While registrations are nonrefundable under the terms agreed to at registration, you can defer your entry to 2028 for a small fee.

Yes! You handle the miles...we’ll hold your gear. Complimentary gear check is available at every event’s Start Line.

After you cross the Finish Line, head to the big Gear Check tent at the post-race party. Show your bib to claim your bag, grab your gear, and get back to celebrating!

Yes...a shirt to rock and a medal to show off! Pick up your race T-shirt at the Expo, then earn your finisher medal when you cross the finish line. We’ll be there to hand it to you and celebrate those well-earned miles!
Yes...these Start Line spots go fast! In past years, every distance has sold out during race week or earlier, so we recommend registering early to secure your spot.
For added peace of mind, we offer the option to defer your entry to the following year for a small fee, plus low-cost registration insurance available at registration.
Let someone else do the driving...you’ve got miles to save your legs for! FrontRunner and TRAX make it easy to leave the car behind, skip the parking hunt, and make your race weekend a little greener.
Heading to the Expo? Connect from your part of the valley to the TRAX Green Line and hop off at Fairpark Station, just about a five-minute walk from the Utah State Fairpark. Less time finding parking means more time enjoying the Expo!
