Based in Jacksonville, FL, Necho's professional journey is highlighted by his role as the Director of Operations at the Association of African American Financial Advisors, where he began in July 2023. His tenure there is marked by the development and implementation of operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and overseeing budgeting and financial management processes. Under his leadership, the organization has seen a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Prior to this, Necho served as the Chief of Staff at the same association from September 2022 to July 2023, where he managed a team of eight, fostering their productivity and professional growth. His role involved key responsibilities such as coordinating company events, overseeing budget approvals, and supporting strategic planning and decision-making. Necho's earlier role as a Program Coordinator with the Association of African American Financial Advisors saw him develop and oversee programs aimed at expanding the community of successful black financial advisors within the financial services industry. This role highlighted his ability to effectively communicate and influence, promoting programs to prospective partners and managing diversity and inclusion strategies.

His experience extends beyond the financial advisory sector, having served as a Data Development Manager at the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, where he managed donor databases and developed strategic data-driven plans. Necho's diverse skill set is further evidenced by his work as a Freelance Marketing Consultant with Coin Goat LLC and his engagement in political campaigns and communications. Necho holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Communication with a specialization in Multimedia Studies Film & Video from Florida Atlantic University, demonstrating a strong foundation in communication and media.

Janna Carroll

Janna Carroll, stands as the Program Manager and Chief Operating Officer of the Carroll Family Foundation, an organization she co-founded alongside her husband, embodying a vision of community empowerment, physical wellness, and holistic well-being.

Academically, she has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, complemented by a minor in Psychology from Kean University. She also holds her Society of Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation.

Her expertise in talent recruitment and keen understanding of community dynamics have enabled her to develop and oversee programs that advance educational and awareness initiatives. Known for her empathetic and inclusive leadership style, Janna has created a collaborative atmosphere within the foundation, enhancing team efficacy and stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that the foundation's vision is realized through concerted efforts and shared goals.

Her inspiring journey from Trinidad and Tobago to the United States, culminating in a notable career in public service and leadership, exemplifies the values we uphold at the foundation.

Jennifer's story, which began with her immigration from Trinidad and Tobago at a young age, is marked by a series of groundbreaking achievements. After a commendable tenure in the United States Navy, where she rose from an enlisted Jet Mechanic to a commissioned Naval Aviation Maintenance Officer, Jennifer transitioned into a laudable political career. Notably, she served as Florida's 18th Lieutenant Governor, becoming the first woman and the first African American and Caribbean person elected statewide in Florida. Her extensive experience, ranging from overseeing key departments in Florida to her roles as a successful state legislator, business owner, and author, enriches her contributions to The Carroll Family Foundation. As a member of our Advisory Board, Jennifer's vast leadership experience, coupled with her deep commitment to service, plays a crucial role in guiding our strategic direction and enhancing our community initiatives, ensuring that we continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives we touch.

Nolan Carroll

Nolan Carroll, a dynamic and versatile professional, enriches The Carroll Family Foundation's Advisory Board with his diverse experiences and profound expertise. Nolan has been instrumental in operational excellence as the Director of Football Operations at Jacksonville A.A. Christian College since January 2020. His leadership journey extends beyond this role, marked by his entrepreneurial venture as the Founder of Coin Goat, LLC, Yolo Rum, Re-Commit and his dedicated service as the President of the Nolan Carroll Foundation, Inc.

Nolan had a successful 8-year career in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. His background in professional sports, combined with his entrepreneurial and leadership endeavors, equips him with unique insights and a deep understanding of teamwork, strategy, and operational excellence. At The Carroll Family Foundation, Nolan's commitment to community service and his professional achievements makes him an invaluable asset, significantly contributing to the foundation's mission and objectives with his comprehensive perspective and unwavering dedication

 

Brian Pham

Brian Pham, brings his extensive expertise in brand marketing and strategy to our organization, significantly enhancing our branding and outreach efforts. His innovative approach and strategic mindset are invaluable assets to the board.

Currently leading the brand strategy for Sports Illustrated Sportsbook and Sports Illustrated Casino at 888 holdings, Brian has been pivotal in shaping the brand's identity and strategy in the New York City Metropolitan Area since August 2022. His responsibilities include enhancing the brand image and orchestrating effective marketing strategies. Concurrently, as the Head of Strategy at Ericsson Street since March 2022, Brian's vision and strategic acumen have been key in propelling the company's growth and strategic positioning. His background includes impactful tenures at The Many as Senior Director of Strategy and at The Madison Square Garden Company, where he honed his skills in developing and implementing brand growth strategies for the New York Knicks. Brian's role as Director of Integrated Strategy at VaynerMedia further solidified his prowess in creating cohesive marketing campaigns. At The Carroll Family Foundation, Brian's rich experience and insights are instrumental in guiding our strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring we effectively communicate our mission and broaden our impact in the communities we serve.

 

Albert Pham

Albert Pham’s multifaceted expertise and passion for making a tangible difference in people's lives make him a vital asset to our team and the communities we serve. He brings a wealth of experience that spans the realms of medical patient safety and emergency response. With over a decade as a Post Market Surveillance Analyst in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry, Albert's expertise lies in analyzing Serious Adverse Events and identifying product malfunctions. This background is invaluable in ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficacy for products that impact patient care.

In addition to his corporate achievements, Albert's diverse skill set includes experience as a Wildland Firefighter and EMT. This unique combination of experiences enriches his role at our foundation, particularly in initiatives focused on health and safety. Albert also contributes to other non-profits including a disaster relief organization. Furthermore, his global contributions, particularly in wildlife conservation and medical training for Park Rangers in South Africa and Southeast Asia, underscore his dedication to global health and safety.
