The Health Summit highlights the commitment Sister2Sister, Inc. (S2S) has to breast cancer education, awareness and community outreach.  A high concentration is given to the African American population because African American women have up to 3 times higher odds of being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer and Latino women have about 1.2 times higher odds compared to White women.  African American women have a 41% Higher Death Rate than White women.  The Health Summit joins the community together to raise awareness, inspire action and foster support for underserved black and brown survivors. It also educates all women and families on good breast health.
