About Jack

Jack played chess from an early age, and what he loved most about it was the opportunity to engage with someone and help them learn more about the game. A 2017 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham HS, Jack was President of the National Honor Society and an AP Scholar with Distinction. He studied at Dartmouth College before taking time off to focus on his entrepreneurial efforts. But Jack's brilliant mind was suffering from depression, and he died in 2019. He is immensely missed by his family and friends, who were touched by his kindness, sharp intellect, and unique insight.

Support Mental Health through
The Jack Duffy Empowerment Foundation

The US Surgeon General recently declared a Youth Mental Health Crisis. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, nearly half of adolescents have had a mental health disorder.

Please consider supporting youth mental health through a tax-deductible donation to the Jack Duffy Empowerment Foundation. We are a 501(c)3 focused on mental health and suicide awareness, research, and education, and we work with other non-profit partners to expand our impact.
