Even if you aren't taking part in the Parade for Pink, you can help us as the McMullen Cove community comes together to support Huntsville Hospital's Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund.  Huntsville Hospital Foundation's Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund ensures Breast Center patients and their families do not have to worry about some of life’s necessities while undergoing an emotional and life-changing treatment journey.  Whether it is rent, utilities, or gas, our gifts break down the barriers to care so they can focus on what matters most – living life and getting healthy.

About Patient Assistance Funds at Huntsville Hospital Foundation
HHF Patient Assistance Funds close the healthcare equity gap for patients who are overwhelmed and under-resourced at diagnosis. They proudly help pay for food, medicines, rent, utilities, and transportation assistance for approximately 50 qualified patients every single month so they can focus on getting well.

Patients like Reagan.  Reagan was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer this February and had to undergo surgery just two weeks later. She is only 29 years old, an engineer with no remote work flexibility, and lives alone. Patient assistance funds enabled Reagan to pay her mortgage and keep her home, plus paid for gas as she traveled the hour to Huntsville almost every single day for treatment.  Because Reagan was able to keep her savings intact, she was then able to afford IVF egg retrieval and still have the potential for a family someday despite the hormone-blocking medicine that was required through treatment.

Our McMullen Cove family is excited to work together to be a part of this important endeavor that, over the past year, enabled HHF to provide more than $215,000, enabling patients to focus on their cancer treatment and to reduce the stress of lost wages.
