Canceling today’s butterfly release due to weather:

After consulting with local meteorologists, and the area is under a flash flood warning until 7:00pm, it is with heavy hearts that we are going to have to cancel today’s butterfly release.
Together in Teal was created to bring awareness to the silent symptoms of ovarian cancer.  While we are not able to all be together to honor women whose lives have been impacted by this horrible disease, we have still raised awareness and the conversation about women’s health and the need to know their bodies. Thank you for helping us fulfill this mission.
We so appreciate your support of this event.  If you would like the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation to consider your butterfly purchase as a tax-deductible donation, we will be sending out tax letters this week.  If you would like to have your butterfly purchase refunded, please email ashley@nlovca.org and we will get the amount of the butterfly refunded.
While we won’t be together to release the butterflies, we will keep them safe and when the sun returns we will release the butterflies safely to honor these women.
Please stay safe and dry this afternoon.  At 4:30 please take a minute to remember those who are close to you.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything.

Best,
Ashley Thompson
