Join the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) for Wild for the Yuba – a special Dinner & Auction – on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 6:00-9:30 pm at the beautiful grounds of the Schrammsberg Estate in Nevada City, CA. This year's Wild for the Yuba will feature great food, an array of fabulous auction items donated by local businesses and artists, and the chance to celebrate our watershed with others who care deeply about protecting the Yuba. This year, we are proud to bring back professional auctioneer Freddie Silveria as emcee for the evening.

This is a fundraiser for SYRCL’s Education Department and Outreach Programs, which work tirelessly to keep the river healthy and safe, such as River Ambassadors, the Yuba River Cleanup, our Youth Environmentalist of the Year college scholarship fund, and more.

Dinner Menu

Chicken Marbella- Bone-in chicken with capers, olives, prunes, and herbs, then baked with added brown sugar and white wine

Beef Tri Tip- Chef-carved, fire-grilled tri tip served with creamy horseradish sauce, chimichurri sauce

Vegan Pasta Primavera- Sauteed vegetables served with penne pasta with vegan pesto

All entrées are served with a choice of two salads, bread & butter, roasted potatoes, green beans almondine, dessert, and passed hors d'oeuvres.
