You are invited to join us at the Women's Giving Circle Annual Grant Awards event. We will be presenting our 2022 grants to the community organizations that were selected for funding by our Grants Committee. Light refreshments will be served.

Non-Profit Showcase

This year, we will again be providing the opportunity for our grant recipients to showcase their missions and share their impact with our attendees. The showcase will take place between 2:30 and 3:00pm prior to the start of the formal program.

Collection To Address "Period Poverty"

In the United States women struggle to achieve adequate menstrual hygiene due to lack of access and lack of income. This leads to stigma, shame, and missed school/work. The “Pink Tax”, or “Tampon Tax”, also contributes to period poverty. 35 U.S. states tax period products as non-essential items. Additionally, food stamps do not cover menstrual products for women living below the poverty line.

To address this need, we will be collecting tampons and pads at our grant awards event and will distribute them to organizations serving women in our community.
