Join us for the first ever Winemaker's Dinner benefitting the Maple Valley Food Bank and Emergency Services! We've partnered with winemaker Jens Hansen of UVA Furem Winery and Chef Butters of Stockton's Restaurant & Spirits to bring a four-course, world-class dining experience right to Maple Valley on Sunday, September 25. 

Happy 'half-hour' starts at 4:30, with dinner running from 5-7 PM.

Each of Chef's four courses have been thoughtfully paired with local wines from UVA Furem, including a pour of the Food Bank's own 'Fight Club Cab,' a limited release by our friends at UVA that helps us #fighthunger and #feedhope with every bottle purchased. This lush and full bodied Cabernet offers fruit forward black cherry, cedar, and dried herbs. Integrated tannins and balanced acid make this wine an easy food accompaniment. Able to stand up to big and bold savory flavors, it's a perfect complement to Chef Butters' fourth course.

First Course: Roasted beets, whipped ricotta, sherry gastrique, walnuts

Second Course: Sumac dusted Arctic Char, chickpea puree, cumin roasted carrots, salsa verde

Intermezzo: Lemon sorbet with fresh mint

Third Course: Roasted duck breast, pumpkin spaetzle, wild mushroom, spiced jus

Fourth Course: Braised beef short rib, Danablu croquette, autumn greens, peppercorn-current demi glace

Dessert: Sticky toffee pudding, spiced pear, vanilla gelato, crumbled honeycomb
