Running For Those Who Can't

In short, I think MS is a terrible disease that robs people of their independence.

Growing up, I watched MS slowly take away the things my mother loved to do. When I was eight, we stopped biking together because she could no longer balance. At eleven, she could no longer waterski because she wasn’t strong enough to pull herself out of the water. By the time I was fourteen, MS had taken much of her mobility and independence.

But my mom was a warrior. Even through MS, she chose joy, faith, and peace in the face of adversity. Watching her live with that kind of strength taught me what true endurance and resilience really look like. She inspires me every day — and that’s why I run.

I run to step into my own strength, to honor her legacy, and to use my legs and voice to raise awareness and funds for MS Run the US, supporting people living with multiple sclerosis. If you’re able, I’d be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation helps us continue supporting the MS community and moving closer to a world without this disease.
