I am participating in the Johns Hopkins Childrenās Center Miracles in Motion 5K in honor of Carson.
Carson came into my life through family, but he became so much more than that. He became my bonus brother. We did not get nearly as much time together as we should have, but the time we did have mattered. We played games, spent time together, laughed together, and built a bond that I will always carry with me.
Carson was funny, smart, stubborn, loving, sarcastic, and unforgettable. He was never just his diagnosis. He was Carson. He was Bee Boy. And he is still bringing people together. 🐝
I am walking with OsteoCure Warriors: Bad to the Bone, a team made up of families connected by osteosarcoma. Some are walking for children who are still fighting. Some are walking for children who have gone before us. Some are walking for children who are now NED, with no evidence of disease. Every family has a story, and every step matters.
Your donation supports Johns Hopkins Childrenās Center and Pediatric Oncology, helping children and families facing the unimaginable and supporting the hope for better treatments, better outcomes, and someday, a cure.
Thank you for supporting me, remembering Carson with me, and helping keep his light moving forward.
BEEcause of Carson, we keep going. 🐝
