We are OsteoCure Warriors: Bad to the Bone, a team of families, friends, and loved ones walking together for children affected by osteosarcoma.
Every person on this team has a story. Some of us are walking for children still fighting. Some are walking for children who are now NED, with no evidence of disease. Some are walking in memory of children we love beyond words and miss every single day. We are moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, united by a disease no child should ever have to face.
We walk for our osteo warriors. We walk for their families. We walk for the siblings who carry this too. We walk for hope, healing, research, better treatments, and someday, a cure.
Most of all, we walk to support the Pediatric Oncology team at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. This is where our children have been treated, cared for, comforted, and loved through the hardest days imaginable. The doctors, surgeons, nurses, and care teams do far more than treat disease. They care for children, hold up families, bring comfort on the hardest days, celebrate every victory, and keep showing up with skill, compassion, and heart.
Your donation goes directly to support this incredible Pediatric Oncology team and the children and families they serve. It is needed. It is appreciated. And it is put to meaningful use in a place where hope, care, and support matter every single day.
Please help us honor every osteo warrior represented on this team and support the people who continue to fight for them, care for them, and walk beside their families.
We are Bad to the Bone. We are walking for our warriors. And we are not done fighting.
