Hello, Friends!
In September 2024, the Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Club annual bike ride of 200 miles will raise funds to bring an all accessible playground to our community: Treasure Cove at Jade Street Park.
Why is this project important?
- Because EVERY child deserves to play: One out of every ten children has a disability and traditional playgrounds typically don't meet their needs.
- It will be designed for ALL Treasure Cove will have areas catering to special needs including a Climb and Slide Zone, Swing and Sway Zone, Tot Zone, Sensory Zone, and Game Zone.
- Mid-County Location: Treasure Cove at Jade Street Park will be easily accessible to families from all parts of the county.
Ride funds support other youth-focused charities including Skills of Life Café, The Teen Kitchen Project, The Boys and Girls Clubs, and our High School 2 and 4-year college scholarship program.

I've committed to fundraise a minimum of $1000. Kindly consider sponsoring me for this ride. With an all-volunteer crew, 100% of the proceeds go to the charities, and it’s all tax deductible as the Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit.
