My name is Sandra Batres, and I created this team for my sister, Liliana, and myself. Liliana is my hero; she selflessly donated one of her kidneys to save my life. I am forever grateful to her, and every day I am blessed to live a healthier life because of her generosity. This run/walk also holds special significance for me, as it falls on my birthday. As my birthday wish, I would be deeply honored if you could either join the run/walk or consider donating to this incredible cause
This event is a non-competitive 5K/1K Run/Walk designed to educate and inspire the community about the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation, with all proceeds benefiting the OneLegacy Foundation.
