We are two women just trying to raise awareness for cervical cancer. One of us survived cervical cancer and was lucky enough to find it because of a failed pregnancy. The other was diagnosed with pre-cervical cancer as a teenager and thought she could never have kids. Knowledge is power, screenings can save lives. We have not let any of these challenges stop us from living healthy lives and becoming parents. - About 14,100 new cases of invasive cervical cancer will be diagnosed.
About 4,280 women will die from cervical cancer. - Cervical pre-cancers are diagnosed far more often than invasive cervical cancer.
- Cervical cancer was once one of the most common causes of cancer death for American women.
