The Silver Circle Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting firefighters, police officers, veterans, active-duty troops, first responders, and the families who stand beside them.
Through charitable giving, fundraising, care packages, community events, and direct support initiatives, the Foundation works to give back to those who protect, serve, and strengthen our communities.
Our mission began with a simple belief: the people who show up for others deserve a community that shows up for them.
Our Initiatives
Firefighters, Police Officers, and First Responders
In 2012, a pivotal moment inspired our mission. When our founder’s father-in-law needed medical assistance, police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel rushed to help. Many dropped everything to respond, some still in civilian clothes, simply because someone needed them.
That act of service left a lasting impression and became part of the reason we continue to give back.
To honor these everyday heroes, we created the Timothy Gahagan Memorial Frostbite Scramble, which has raised more than $100,000 to date. The Foundation also supports initiatives that provide personal safety items, equipment, and resources for firefighters, police officers, and first responders.
Veterans
As part of a veteran-owned company community, the Silver Circle Foundation understands the sacrifices made by those who serve.
The Foundation raises funds, collects supplies, and supports efforts that benefit active-duty troops and veterans. Each year, we help collect and deliver more than 1,000 Christmas cards to troops stationed overseas.
For veterans returning home with disabilities, the Foundation supports organizations and programs that help provide mortgage-free homes and other meaningful assistance to veterans and their families.
Troops Serving Overseas
Our support does not stop at home. The Foundation continues to collect food, supplies, care package items, and messages of appreciation for troops serving overseas.
A simple card, small package, or reminder from home can make a meaningful difference to someone serving far away from family and friends.
Mental Health and Community Wellness
The Silver Circle Foundation recognizes that service often comes with unseen challenges. Veterans, first responders, law enforcement officers, firefighters, military families, and community members may face stress, trauma, grief, isolation, anxiety, depression, or other mental health struggles.
Through fundraising, awareness events, and partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, the Foundation seeks to support programs that promote mental health, suicide prevention, community connection, and access to resources.
Our goal is not to replace professional care. Our goal is to help start conversations, reduce stigma, and support organizations already doing the hard work in our communities.
Taking the Next Step
While our charitable efforts have been part of Silver Circle’s work for many years, the creation of the Silver Circle Foundation, Inc. allows us to expand our fundraising, grow our partnerships, and increase our impact.
The Foundation gives us a stronger platform to support the people and organizations doing meaningful work for firefighters, police officers, veterans, troops, first responders, mental health programs, and community wellness initiatives.

Expanding Our Mission: Mental Health, Hope, and Connection
In addition to our ongoing support for firefighters, police officers, veterans, and troops, the Silver Circle Foundation is expanding its focus to include mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and community-based support programs.
Mental health affects every part of our community. It impacts veterans, first responders, families, youth, coworkers, neighbors, and friends. Too often, people struggle quietly. Through events like Miles for the Mind 5K Run/Walk, the Foundation hopes to create opportunities for connection, conversation, awareness, and support.
Miles for the Mind is about more than miles. It is about reminding people they are not alone, helping connect the community with resources, and raising funds to support mental health initiatives and nonprofit partners working in areas such as suicide prevention, veteran support, first responder wellness, youth mental health, and family services.
