Breast Run Ever is more than just a race—it’s a community effort led by young women to make a meaningful impact. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Susan G. Komen, a leading breast cancer organization that has invested over $1.1 billion in research, patient support, and advocacy since its founding in 1982.
By participating in this event, you're not only contributing to lifesaving breast cancer initiatives—you’re also uplifting the next generation of female leaders. The race is organized by members of the Young Women’s Leadership Club at Ocean Lakes High School, giving young women the opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain real-world experience, and discover the power of collaboration and purpose-driven work.

Meet the Organizers
This event is proudly organized by sisters Maddie and Taylor Murrell.
Maddie Murrell is a senior at Ocean Lakes High School and the founder and president of the Young Women’s Leadership Club (YWLC). She is passionate about empowering women through community involvement and activism. Maddie is thrilled to host Breast Run Ever in partnership with YWLC to raise awareness for breast cancer and bring people together for a meaningful cause.16
