Our official 1-mile Dog Jog, 3.1-mile 5K and Little Paws Fun Run courses will start and finish at the Richmond SPCA. Each race will begin outside the Richmond SPCA building. Richmond Road Runners Club will be conducting our on-site chip-timed 5K.
Run Anywhere Dog Jog and 5K Courses and Race Timing
Participating in the Run Anywhere Dog Jog or the 5K is easy and interactive, thanks to the free GPS-tracking RaceJoy app! Download the app today, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Each registered participant will receive an assigned bib number via email and in your race packet, which you’ll enter into RaceJoy when you log in.
You must track your participation using the RaceJoy app in order to be eligible for 5K finisher prizes.
We strongly recommend that you download RaceJoy and log in with your assigned bib number before you set out to begin your Dog Jog or 5K participation on March 25, 26 or 27.
Using the RaceJoy app during your participation in the 5K and/or Dog Jog:
- Makes you eligible for 5K finisher prizes
- Provides you with an official time for your 5K and/or Dog Jog
- Automatically adds your results to our leaderboard in real time
- Gives you access to progress and milestone alerts, as well as alerts about the pets you’re helping during your participation
Your family and friends can also download the app in order to track you live, receive progress alerts and send you words of encouragement through the “Send a Cheer” feature!
