As a non-profit organization that supports and assists Veterans, we want to ensure that your contributions are appreciated and used for their intended purposes. We could not complete our mission to provide safe and suitable housing to homeless women Veterans and their children without you. We hope you will also encourage others to support our organization.
Since incorporation we have:
Provided over 17,000 transitional housing days
Opened three transitional homes for women Veterans and their children
Provided professional clothing, shoes, head-shots, and make-overs to 1494 women Veterans and transitioning military women through our Next Uniform Events
Provided transitional housing for 34 women Veterans and 40 children via our H.O.M.E. program, prevented homelessness, and provided emergency financial assistance for 630 women Veterans and 943 children via our S.A.F.E. Program. An additional 2277 women Veterans and 2748 children received financial education resources.
Transitional Facility Operating Cost:
$25 daily per woman Veteran (includes housing, case management, food, clothing, transportation, in-house financial education and counseling, and others essential services)
$5,000 monthly for transitional housing facility ($60,000 annually)
No more than 10% of every dollar goes towards admin cost
