Frequently Asked Questions
Can I run with my child, a stroller, pet, or headphones?
Yes, you welcome to run on the course with your child and stroller. If you're running with a stroller, please line up in the last race wave. Be aware that the race course has varied surfaces and we recommend a jogging stroller that can easily push over a variety of terrain. Pets are not allowed unless they are a certified service animal. Headphones are permitted on the race route but please be vigilant of your surroundings as there will be many children and strollers.
While your child is welcome on the race course with you, they must be registered for the Critter Crawl in order to participate in that event. Day of registration will be available.
When does the Critter Crawl take place?
The Critter Crawl will begin at 9:45am (this time subject to change by a 15 min window - but the event will take place after the majority of participants have cleared the main course). You will be able to see your child participate in the event. Kids have to be registered for the Critter Crawl to participate in the Critter Crawl. To register for your child for the Critter Crawl, visit here. If your child is only registered for the 5K/1Mile, they must also be formally registered for the Critter Crawl so we can properly plan and prepare.
