How do I participate in Tails on the Trail?

  • Join or create a "Fundraising Pack" to increase your contribution to Tails on the Trail 
  • Enter the Tails on the Trail Doggie Costume Contest (Must be registered to participate)

What are the registration fees?

  • Registration ranges from $10-$40 depending on your event. All levels can be viewed HERE.

Is the route wheelchair or stroller accessible?

  • YES! This year the route is a paved path so all wheelchairs, strollers and wagons are welcome!
  • Please note that strollers and wagons are only allowed in the 1 Mile Walk and not in the 5K Run.

Is the event weather dependent?

  • No, Tails on the Trail is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be provided.

How do I receive my running bib and/or Swag Bag and T-shirt?

  • Packet Pick Up will be held October 8th and 9th at the Sharonville Shelter from 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Packets can also be picked up the day of the event but we highly encourage people to pick up beforehand.
  • Bibs, T-shirts and Swag Bags cannot be mailed.

Where should I park?

  • Parking is available at Francis RecreAcres Park, the front SPCA Cincinnati lot and overflow can park at Stewart Elementary

Are dogs allowed? What if I don't have a dog?

  • Dogs are not only allowed but encouraged! The only place dogs are not allowed are in the 5K Run for the safety of our participants.
  • Don't have a Dog? No problem! Come to run, walk, or just enoy the event as part of the community. You can even check out our adoptable animals so next year you'll have a companion.

Are cats allowed?

  • Absolutely! We loves our cats as much as our dogs. 
  • Cats are required to be contained in a pet stroller at all times.

Can I adopt animals during the Walk?

  • Yes! We will have adoptable dogs from our shelter at Tails on the Trail
  • The shelter, with all of our adoptable animals, will be open to event attendees beginning at 9 a.m. and open to the public from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

I want to be a sponsor or a vendor at the Walk, how do I do that?
