Join us in person to ride, spin or volunteer, or virtually create your own challenge; your support will go a long way. In fact, 100 percent of your contribution will go directly to support cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kid's at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Team Powered By Hope will ride again this year for Harper Grace and we are so excited to have the Kids Challenge back on PTC event weekend! Harper Grace is 5 1/2 years old and will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall at Green Trails Elementary. She adores her new baby brother, Cooper, and she is the best big sister to her new little bestie. Harper, who was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis (NF1) when she was 2, had a rough February and March with multiple hospital stays and 3 brain surgeries. In addition to her tumors, she has hydrocephalus and is having difficulty getting her shunt to work properly. Harper still completes OT, PT and speech therapies weekly, endures a complete full brain and spine MRI and vision checks every 3 months to check for tumor growth and vision loss. When she is not being a cancer-fighting superkid, she can be found dancing, singing or swimming. She loves all things girly, Disney princesses, playing outside, Sunday School, unicorns, making crafts, playing with friends, the Missouri Tigers, Clifford and Peppa the Pig. She is on a health kick and avoiding all candy and sweets and has realized her body feels better without it. Her goal this spring is to try and ride a 'big kid' bike instead of her assisted help bike. Way to go Harper Grace!
Of course we would never forget to ride in memory of our brave little 'Leo the Lion'; or in honor of DJ, Harper and Luca, our high schoolers; Allison and Peyton, our high school graduates; and Kaitlyn, our newly engaged, young lady! We love all of our kiddos!
